Wien - Nach Angaben der Polizei wurde die blutverschmierte Leiche des 50-Jährigen, der auch als “Stier von Serbien” bekannt war, von Passanten gegen 5.30 Uhr auf dem Gehsteig vor seinem Lokal “Champ’s Pub” mit mehreren Messerstichen im Hals und Oberkörper gefunden. Ein möglicher Tatverdächtiger wurde nach Angaben der Polizei festgenommen.
Das Verbrechen war vom Sohn des Boxers entdeckt worden. Er alarmierte die Polizei, die neben der Leiche einen 26-jährigen Russen fand, der verletzt war und dessen Kleidung ebenfalls blutverschmiert war.
