Rare Marilyn Monroe footage found
Previously unseen amateur footage of Marilyn Monroe which was shot in 1959 on a film set is unearthed in Australia.
The footage shows Monroe acting playfully on set with co-stars Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis.
Monroe died in August 1962 at the age of 36 from a drugs overdose.
The lot, including a CD copy and a DVD copy together with the original film, will be offered for sale by Leski Auctions in Melbourne on September 25 with a pre-sale estimate of 20,000 - 30,000 Australian dollars (17,000-25,500 U.S. dollars).
The purchaser also acquires full commercial rights.
